Former Duckholes Hotel

A prominent landmark on the main road into Romsey, this building functioned as a hotel until the late 1800's. The weatherboards were removed and the structure re-clad with this unusual collection of corrugated iron pieces sometime between 1968 and 1976. Many people probably don't realise that it has looked this way for around 50 years.
